Hello Steve,
Thanks for coming to our school, Harristown Primary in Toowoomba. We had an awesome time. Our class has written some comments about your visit. "Steve is a very determined man. He is passionate about his trip and is brave and caring about our planet. He stands up for what he believes in and knows he can make a difference in the world. He is an inspiration, an extreme adventurer and a hero to me. Steve is a man that won't give up even after he had a motorbike accident. He has a good sense of humour. It was interesting that he chose a kayak to teach us about climate change." Best wishes for your success from Year 7 Harristown State School, Toowoomba

Can I borrow your kayak?  We have had 380mm in 36 hours and the wildest, wooliest weather I have ever experienced over the long weekend! Half our annual rainfall! I had the power out for most of the weekend but thankfully I was lucky as my house withstood the gales and deluge. A lot of people lost everything.  I can now imagine how Noah felt - wet!
I've been following your progress and I'm amazed at how much walking you're doing - I thought rivers were called that 'cause they had water in them! More rain is forecast here  - I'll try and send it your way.Keep up the great work.

Good on you steve - Its an inspiration to see someone with the courage to demonstrate their committmnet to their beliefs. A lot of us "talk the talk" but few of us back it up with action. Its prompted me to have a re-think on a lot of issues. Im also very impresed at the extent to which youve been able to get your
message across. While the journey itself is a fantastic personal achievement, your ability to raise awareness on the issues across a broader forum has
been phenomenal. Keep at it mate!
